The criterion of indexing to which the others are subordinated, is the chronological order followed by Adickes' dating. Consequently the order of the indexing is guided by the age of the earliest moment of the phase assigned in each case.
Thus, first ones will be the "lose Blätter" to which the phase e has been assigned. In fact, Adickes does not indicate the moment in which this phase is initiated (the last one in 1763). Second ones will be determined as phase b 1 (1752-1755/56). Third ones are those whose dating includes the phase e, which in addition to this have been published in the Auszug by Meier, in his edition of 1752. The fourth ones are dated in the phase a1 (1753-1754), and so on.
